Information on the Programme

  • ▪ The normal duration of studies for the postgraduate degree is 2 years.
    ▪ The mode of the program is part-time.
    ▪ Students will attend classes twice a week in the evening hours after 6pm.
    ▪ The total tuition fees for the two years are €4.500 for EU students and €6.500 for students outside EU.
  • It is aimed at graduates of higher education (Greek and foreign universities), mainly in the fields of Engineering and Technology.

    The aim of the offered postgraduate program is:
    ▪ To develop and expand the managerial skills of engineers involved in the decision-making centres of companies.
    ▪ To equip engineers with the necessary skills for the use of modern methods in the construction industry.
    ▪ To strengthen the rational and effective approach to modern technical and economic issues.

    The program includes state-of-the-art industrial product design and management courses with extensive use of information technology.
  • The offered postgraduate program is completed with the completion of 90 ECTS (equivalent to 180 UK credits) as follows:
    ▪ successful completion of 4 extended modules (60 ECTS)
    ▪ project dissertation (30 ECTS)

    The modules offered are as follows:
    ▪ Engineering Research Techniques, Entrepreneurship & Quality Management
    ▪ Computer Integrated Product Development (Computer Aided Design (CAD) – Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) – Mechanism Design & Simulation)
    ▪ Advanced CAD/CAM Systems (Advanced Computer Aided Industrial Design and Manufacturing Systems)
    ▪ Mechatronic Design & Automation (Mechatronics, Robotics and Automation Systems (FEM) – Use of Advanced Materials in Manufacturing (Ceramics, Polymers, Composites))

  • Innovations of the Programme:
    ▪ The work is mainly carried out in the industry and in the student’s employer, thus linking the scientific methods taught to the needs of the industry.
    ▪ Since 2014 it has been possible to carry out the thesis in the laboratories of the Kingston University in London, or in partner industries in the UK.
